E-Gyan Udyog

The National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NME- ICT) always aims to extend the facility of teaching - learning outcome to all learners involved in higher education beyond the classroom. Its motto is “to provide connectivity up to the last mile”. Development of E - content and circulate it through potential ICT are important keys of this scheme. Keeping this national aim in mind our college also started to develop curriculum based interactive good quality content in different subjects which would be available in open access and also can be used through a proper Learning Management system. The initiative would be highly beneficial to the students.

Following the instruction of UGC guideline for E- content development, contents have been arranged in four quadrants in this E Gyan Udyog section. They are e- Content, e- Tutorial, Web resources and Self Assessment. E content section contains textual documents, e books, illustration, interactive simulation etc. In E-Tutorial section Video and Audio Content, Animation, Simulations, Virtual Lab can be incorporated. Web resource part includes related Links, Wikipedia Development of Course, Open Content on Internet, Case Studies, Anecdotal information, Historical development of the subject etc. Different types of assessments including MCQ, Problems, Quizzes, Assignments & solutions, Online feedback through discussion, Clarifications on subjects have been included in Self Assessment section.
